My M Rock Creative Story
M Rock Creative was “officially” born in 2013 but was always part of me. From a young age, I knew I was going to be an artist.
Small-town Montana didn’t offer many artistic opportunities and I took the two art classes my high school offered twice each. I left Montana in 2004 for a Graphic Design education in Colorado. I landed at Colorado State University in Fort Collins and haven’t left the area.
After college and 9 years on the marketing team at a local nonprofit, I took the leap to full-time self-employment, with two small kids and one on the way. Now, 2 years later, I wouldn’t change a thing. This self-employment gig is hard, but so damn rewarding.
My clients are amazing and come to me mainly through word-of-mouth. I’m so thankful. I’m fortunate to live in Wellington, an awesome Northern Colorado community and I’m proud of the work I’ve done in this community…especially helping launch the Wellington Brewfest in 2018.
Through it all, I’m a real person, supporting a real family, helping real businesses (who are also real people, supporting real families…etc). If you ever have questions, I’d love to hear from you. Email me any time at firstname.lastname@example.org.
