Running a business as a solopreneur can be time-consuming. Not only are you executing the work for clients, but you’re also the janitor, bookkeeper, marketing department, social media manager, & account manager. Time is money & investing in tools that help save me time has been extremely valuable!
Here are some of my favorite time-saving, business productivity tools.
I’ve been using Quickbooks Self-Employed since 2017. It’s been a time-saver for tracking my income and expenses. Staying on top of my finances & mileage throughout the year makes tax time go more smoothly.
ManageWP is a digital tool I use to help keep my client’s websites running smoothly. In addition to daily, offsite backups, ManageWP offers other functionality like uptime/downtime monitoring and vulnerability updates.
I’m not sure I could run my business without LastPass. A solid password encryption tool should be a standard practice in my industry. Ensuring that I’m protecting my clients’ security is important to me!
HoneyBook is one of the newer tools I’ve invested in this year. I’ve found it helpful with estimating, contracts, scheduling & invoice delivery. It also gives me a place to keep track of leads & project progress.
This year, I’ve started to dig more into data and analytics for my clients, especially my SEO clients. Utilize a robust reporting tool like DashThis has freed up some of my time and helped assemble data into pretty reports for my clients.
Monday.com is a task management tool for teams. I utilize Monday.com as a contractor for a long-term client of mine & it’s helpful for keeping track of tasks & project progress. If you have a team, Monday.com is a very worthwhile investment!
If you’re at the point in your business where you feel like you don’t have enough time in the day, consider investing in tools like these that will help you reclaim some of your precious time.
